Duties

The incumbent will be responsible for performance of the following duties:

    In charge of day to day works operations of the unit
    To draw daily schedules in consultation with the Project Engineer and document daily activities
    To ensure that all the equipment are in good working condition
    To ensure that the machines are serviced, oiled, cleaned and washed and are always parked well.
    To ensure that the minor repairs are carried out as per schedule.
    To ensure that Log books for each machine are in order
    Responsible for Stores records ledgers.
    To write weekly reports on field work activities.
    Any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Requirement:

    Diploma in Agricultural Engineering/Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
    Five years experience in a Government or private management of equipment.

Knowledge and skills

    Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills
    Must be self motivated and self driven and able to meet deadlines.
    Must be able to work and reside under field/rural conditions.
