Job Title: Plant Operators (15)

Duties/Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for performance of the following duties: -

    To operate the plant according to the operators manual.
    To ensure machines are in good working condition (check the water) before operations start in the morning.
    To ensure that the plant is always clean after work.
    To ensure that the plant is well grease.
    To report any minor or major faults to the Engineering Assistant.
    Ensure log book is properly filled before operations i.e. every morning.
    Ensure the plant is parked in the appropriate and secure place after work
    Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement:

    Ordinary level (UCE) certificate with a pass in English
    Certificate of heavy machine operator from a recognized institution.
    Experience of at least 3 years operating a relevant machine.

Knowledge and skills

    Able-to work in a team and able to work and stay under field/ rural conditions
