Job Title:
Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support operation of the aircraft in compliance with the civil Aviation Authority Regulations
• Carrying out trouble shooting and defect rectifications of the air crafts , engines and systems
• Compilation and revision to maintain ton craft
• Carrying out trouble shooting and defect rectification of the air craft engines and systems
• Maintenance and updating of technical records in liaison with maintenance base
• Airplane including engine life components and air worthlessness limitation surveillance /tracking
• Ensuring that maintenance of the air craft air frame and engine systems is carried out in accordance with the civil Aviation Authority Requirements manufactures recommendations and best practices
• Inspection and certification of work carried out on air craft including certificate of release to service
• Accomplishment of C & A renewal requirements including flight tests and compilation of required paper worked
Qualifications
• Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognised institution
• Valid Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Aircraft maintenance Engineer License in Category A and C Gas Turbine Engines
• Have a minimum of 5 years total aircraft maintenance experience on Cessna Caravan
