Job Title: Electrician ( 2 positions based at Nalukolongo Railway Workshop)

Purpose: To ensure effective maintenance and repairs of Rolling Stock, plant and equipment in the company
Reports to: Supervisor Electrical

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical services and repairs according to set standards and procedures
• Participate in locomotive and plant electrical maintenance programs
• Support in planning of locomotive and plant electrical maintenance
• Assist in the preparation of production reports

Knowledge & Skills, Experienced Qualifications

• Diploma in electrical engineering or its equivalent
• 3 years experience in maintenance and repair of Heavy diesel powered equipment and workshop plant
• Management and communication skills
• Computer literacy
