Job Title: Technicians (5 positions based in Nalukolongo Railway workshop)

Purpose: To ensure effective maintenance and repair of rolling stock, plant and equipment in the company
Reports to: Mechanical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Rolling Stock and plant overhaul/ maintenance programs
• perform service, repairs and maintenance of rolling stock & plant
• Observe that repairs and maintenance of rolling and plant is carried out within set standards and qualifications

Knowledge & Skills, experience and Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent 
• 3 years experience in maintenance and repairs of heavy diesel powered equipment and plant
• Management and communication skills
