Job Title: Accountant
Reports to: Deputy Registrar

Person Specifications:

• Must have Bachelor of commerce or Business Administration with Accounting or Finance option
• Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from a recognized institution
• Must possess relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA
• Must have served for at least 3 years in an accounting occupation from a reputable institution

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Compiles with applicable taxes and other requirements including VAT, PAYE, NSSF, Insurance
• Prepare budgets, financial reports and final books of accounts
• Supervises the collection of revenue and prepares bank reconcilliations
• Make follow ups on finance queries and provides timely feed back to all finance concerns
