Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Job Purpose: To manage and dispense anti-retroviral drugs for opportunistic infections and other illnesses for subjects in ongoing studies under supervision of Unit Pharmacist

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Day to day dispensing of drugs including Investigational Products (IP)
• Monitoring drug / IP stocks and timely preparation of orders
• Monitoring Drug/IP stocks and timely preparation of orders
• Monitoring drug/ IP expiry
• Developing and maintaining pharmacy SOPs
• Documentation of all Drug/ IP management processes

Education, Skills and Experience needed

• Diploma in Pharmacy,. Other relevant training in pubic health, research methods, ICH/GCP will be an added advantage
• Experience in clinical trial setting will be an advantage
•  Comprehensive and current understanding of common pharmaceutical products

Terms and Conditions:
Successful applicants will serve 2 years contract with a possibility of renewal inclusive of 6 months probation
