Job Title: Public Health  Specialist
The U.S.Misssion  , Uganda  is  inviting   suitable  qualified  applicants  to fill the  above Vacancy  which is vacant .
Qualifications
•    Education  required;  Completion of  PhD  in  social  or  behavioral sciences , statistics , or a public health  area  (epidemiology ,surveillance , program  policy  management , international  health, and health , and health  education ), nursing  or medicine is required.
•    Work experience  required: Eight years  of  mid-to-senior  level  public health  experience in developing , implementing and evaluating  HIV/AIDS  prevention or  other public health  programs that involve  coordination  with an international  agency  or  implementing partiner  is required . One additional  year  of experience  at managerial  level with  multiple staff  is required .
•    Language  required ;
•     Level  IV  English  ability (fluent written and spoken  and reading )
Selection Criteria
•    Management will consider   nepotism/conflict  of  interest , budget,  and visa  status in determining  successful candidacy.
•    Current  employees  serving a probationary period  are  not  eligible  to apply
•    Current  Ordinarily  Resident  employees with an  Oerall Summary Rating  of Needs  Improvement  or  Unsatisfactorily on their  most recent  Employee Performance  Report  are not eligible  to apply.
