Job Title: Grants Officer

The Grants Officer will be responsible for preparing and managing calls for proposals for NGOs/CSOs, award and management of grants and contracts and monitoring of the implementation of NGO/ CSOs activities in collaboration of the Programme and monitoring of the implementation of NGO/ CSOs activities in collaboration of the Programme Manager.
Qualifications and experience.
• A University Degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences.
• Post-graduate qualification In Project Planning and Management will be an added advantage.
• At least five years of overall experience, especially with Grants management in donor funded/NGO projects of financial institutions in expected.
• Experience in developing grants tracking systems and tracking program budget.
• Knowledge of EOF procedures is a must.
• Ability to take initiatives and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and spoken).
• Proven ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to develop and implement successful training sessions.
• Excellent computer skills and competency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
