Job Title: Field Engineer & Field Specialist

REPORT TO: Senior Field Engineer

Job Description (Duties):

Job Purpose:

To safely and carefully operate and maintain Oilphase-DBR's sampling and/or analysis equipment on the job site, with the goal of satisfying the requirements of the client.

Financial;

    * Care of Company assets.
    * Comply with requisition system for ordering spare parts and consumables.

Client Service;

    * When necessary, assist management at marketing & sales meetings with clients.
    * When necessary, attend at pre-job, pre-spud and post-job meetings with clients.
    * Direct contact with client representative on the rig during assignments.
    * Ensure technical reports being prepared and delivered to clients in a timely manner.

QHSE;

    * Report actively Failure reports, Risk Identification Repareports initiated within 24 hours and propose corrective actions
    * Comply with all standards and requirements within the Comapny.
    * Keeping yourself updated on any changes within the QHSE-MS.
    * Keep Safety Passport up to date.

Technical;

    * Perform workshop activity (maintain and prepare equipment for assignments)
    * Ordering and follow-up on deliverance for necessary spare parts and consumables.
    * Prepare equipment for dispatch to client base.
    * Fill in Outward and Inward delivery tickets in compliance with valid procedures.
    * Go offshore to perform sampling & analysis assignments in compliance with valid procedures.
    * Perform the wellsite services according to the directions of the client.
    * Preparation and safe packaging of equipment and/or chemicals at the wellsite prior to return to base.
    * When appointed, be responsible for the assignment ("First man", client contact, decision-making,etc).
    * Prepare Field Operation Report and complete Field Service Record at work.
    * Follow-up on all assignments (Status on returned equipment, Technical report to client, Failure reports, Track record data, e.t.c)
    * Set up and prepare job load-out's (i.e Assign kits/equipment for field jobs.)
    * Standing in for Field Service Manager when required.
    * Regular Updates to Personal objectives.
    * Updating of RITE for all cases of Equipment Charge of status, Equipment Maintenance, Asset Movement you are involved in.
    * Keep up to date all minimum QHSE Training and required minimum RIR requirement, CNP and Job Preferences & Certification.

Personnel;

    * Supervise activity offshore, when "first man" on assignment. Supervise/Guide trainees on-and offshore.
    * Utilize LMS to keep track of Training & Development.
    * Specialists should follow Compass X-Pert program and Engineers the Compass program.



Necessary Qualifications:

    * 3 years working experience.
    * Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    * Field Supervisory experience is essential.
