Job Title: Human Resource Officer
TERMS: 2 years contract, renewable
AGE: 25 -45 years
DUTIES:
• Handling all Human Resource matters pertaining to training and development welfare and safety.
• Maintaining up-to-date leave roster and staff lists of the NUYDC
• Assists in identifying needs and drawing up training programmes
• Handles HIV issues at the Centre in liaison with the Ministry's HIV contact person.
• Coordinates Staff Appraisal at the Centre with the Deputy Director Administration.
• Maintains employment records of staff and organize personnel records at the centre.
• Monitors the pay roll to verify salary changes and ensure that the right salary and allowances are paid to staff .
• Any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Job requirement
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
A Ugandan National holding an Honours Bachelors Degree in either Arts or Social Sciences with Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management as a subject, BA Human Resource Management, Social work and Social Administration or Commerce (Management option) or Business Administration (Management option) or a related field from a recognized University/Institution. Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or Public Administration and Management from a recognized University/ Institution or a Certificate in Human Resource
• At least a minimum experience of two (2) years Experience in a reputable organization.
