Job Title: Nurse/Matron
TERMS: 1 year contract, renewable
AGE; 25years - 45 years
REPORTS TO; Deputy Director Administration

DUTIES:
• Manages the health facility at the centre-
• Attends to the nursing needs of students and staff
• Provides treatment to patients
• Refers complicated health cases to Medical Officers
• Takes responsibility over female learners and their hostel
• Keeps patients comfortable and ensure a healthy environment
• Manages and accounts for allocated resources including drugs and first aid kits
• Compiles daily ward reports.
• Imparts knowledge to students and staff
• Participates in research activities
• Prepares students and Patients for meals
• Prepares and carries out sterile procedures
• Any other related duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.

Job requirement

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
• A Ugandan National trained at Registered Level or its equivalent from a recognized Institution
• Must be registered with the Nurses and Midwives council.
• Two (2) Years experience in quality nursing in a recognized health center
