The Uganda AIDS Commission was established by Statute of Parliament in February 1992 to coordinate HIV/AIDS issues in Uganda. It is an organisation with a vision of a population free of HIV/AIDS and its effects; and a mission to provide the overall leadership in the coordination and management of the HIV/AIDS National Response. The Commission seeks to recruit highly skilled, experienced and motivated persons to fill the following positions.
(5) JOB TITLE: PROGRAM OFFICER
Reports to: Coordinator Partnership Affairs Directly supervises: None Purpose of the Job
To coordinate the participation of the activities of CSF in response to HIV/AIDS, facilitate and provide support to the
CSF Secretariat in liaison with other UAC staff, the SC, and the implementing agents to ensure the smooth operations of the
CSF, by efficiently addressing the following areas:
Convene Steering Committee [SC) and related TWO meetings;
Convene proposal and project progress review meetings;
Manage the distribution of CSF sponsored solicitations and official communications;
Manage the intake of CSF applications and projects reports.
Development of CSF Annual work plan;
Production of regular CSF Reports;
Smooth CSO proposal development and granting process; and Entire CSF coordination streamlined.
