Job Title: Program Manager

Overall Responsibility
The program manager is the individual with overall responsibility on the ground for the planning and implementation of programs of the Amakula Kampala cultural Foundation. He/she is directly responsive to the partly Dutch based artistic and executive director and is in charge of the day to day management of the organization

Key Responsibilities
Manage the Amakula organization by providing direction to a small staff, and overseeing effective planning, execution and development of activities, tasks, and organizational procedures while taking responsibility for human resource management and personal operations.

Ensure effective program development, long term planning and implementation

Develop concept papers for funding proposals, meet potential donors and make necessary presentations.

Participate in revising when necessary Amakula's policy manuals and administrative systems.

Qualification and Skills
Bachelors Degree in related field
masters degree or postgraduate training is added advantage
Training and at least 5 years experience in Development or project management.
Skills in Results Based Management
Project Proposal Development Skills
