Job Title: MSENTE RISK & COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Reporting to the Head of Msente.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that the company doesn’t lose money by reviewing accounts, processes and compliance with the tariff guide.
Laise with Risk Management and Audit to Ensure that any identified shortcomings are worked on and rectified immediately
Ensure, monitor and certify that Msente Operations are in compliance requirements that are regulatory, statutory and legal requirements
Assess and ensure compliance according to the internal policies and procedures.( Msente and Finance)
Prepare management reports on status of Msente risk and compliance on monthly basis.
Monitor and prepare reports on authorization limits, arrears and suspicious transactions
Prepare quarterly compliance reports for onward submission to board.
Organise risk and compliance trainings.
Monitor, check and approve Msente account opening documents.
Conduct Agent visits to ensure compliance at all outlet.
Monitor and Review all Msente transactions.
Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Applicants must have

The applicant must possess Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or any related field.
Proficiency in computer application software i.e. Advanced Excel spread sheets, Access, Power Point, MS Word.
Minimum 3 years experience in a related environment.
Experience from a banking environment is an added advantage.
