Job Title: RISK ANALYST

Reports to the Risk Manager
Applicants must have

A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field from a recognised university
At least part III of a relevant professional qualification e.g. CIA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
A minimum of 2(two) years’ experience in risk analysis in a large organisation
Membership to a relevant professional body e.g. IIA, ICPAU or equivalent

Duties and Responsibilities:

Identifying risks i.e. potential threats to the achievement of objectives
Assessing risks, including their impact and likelihood of occurring and developing a risk matrix.
Documenting risks and managing multiple and cross enterprise risks
Undertaking response and other control activities by responding to and reporting on opportunities and threats that affect the achievement of objectives
Recommending and participating in the implementation of appropriate controls to mitigate risk
Communicating information on risks consistently to the Risk Manager by submitting reports on a timely basis.
Examining, evaluating, reporting and recommending improvements on the adequacy and effectiveness of management’s risk processes
Promoting company-wide risk awareness
Carrying out adhoc assignments as directed by the Risk Manager
