Job Title: Farm Development Support Officer

Reports to: Technical Services Manager through the Agricultural Advisory services Officer

Job Purpose:
The overall objective of the assignment of the Officer is to specifically undertake and support activities involving structures and technologies in farm development with respect to the poultry housing construction support;

Functions:
• Support and develop water for production practices and technologies to be implemented under the NAADS Program
• Participate in workshops related to farm structures support including crib construction to water for the production management practices
• Participate, facilitate and support traing of service providers in irrigation management practices

Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in agricultural engineering, any relevant qualification in value chain
• Demonstrated experience/ ability in analytical skills
• At least 3 years working experience
• Experience managing the farm development and irrigation schemes and farm development would be an advantage
