Job Title: Law Enforcement Assistant
Reports to: Town Clerk
Main Purpose: To maintain law and order and enforce regulations in the municipality
Key Activities:
• Enforcing national laws and council by-laws
• Detecting, arresting, preparing charge sheets and prosecuting law breakers
• Sensitizing the public of crime prevention
• Protecting life and property of residents
Person Specifications:
• A diploma in Law from a recognized university or institution
• Policing and detective skills
