Treasurer Jobs in Local Government of Uganda

Job Title: Town Treasurer
Reports to: Town Clerk

Main Purpose:
To manage financial issues and control expenditure in the Town Council

Person Specifications:
• Honors Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a bias in Accounting or certified public Accountant. Possession of post graduate qualifications in Financial management from a recognized University or institution will be an added advantage
• Ability to handle public finances and management skills
• At least 3 years experience is required


How to Apply:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post in the district Service. Applications should be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form No.3 to the Secretary, District Service Commission, P.O Box 1, Kiboga

The application forms are obtainable from the District Service commission, Public Service commission or district personnel Officers. Hand written applications are also acceptable. Applicants should attach photocopies of their certificates and testimonials plus a recent certified passport size photograph to each of the three application forms or letters
