Introduction
• The scope of this role will require the incumbent to have excellent technical hands-on ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, server, and workstation issues (Hardware and Software).
• The high level performance targets are Helpdesk Support, Maintenance of key responsibilities and IT Projects.
Minimum Requirements
• The ideal candidate should have 2 years' experience in IT.
Job Specification
• User, Workstation and IT Support
• 1st Level and Escalations, Remote Access Support
• Setup and Support of software, hardware, user profiles and issues
• Low to Medium level support and maintenance of IT infrastructure (LANs and WANs)
• TCP/IP and Cabling
• Routers and Switches - HP and/or Cisco
• Bandwidth Management, SNMP and Network Management and Documentation
• Implementation and Maintenance of IT Servers
• Implementation and Maintenance of Systems Center Configuration Manager
• Implementation and Maintenance of Backups & Restore System - Daily and Weekly Backups and Restore Testing
