TASK

Kitega community centre needs an online volunteer who will help develop their website. The website is already running; www.kitega-cc.org The online volunteer will help design, organise and perfect the website to give Kitega community centre an ideal online home.

This assignment will take about eight weeks and the online volunteer will work hand in hand with the kitega community centre team to get all the necessary infoRmation.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

In a bid to increase online awareness, Kitega community centre wishes to equip its online home to provide adequate information about the centre's activities and work.

The website has been running for the last two years but is not yet complete. The online volunteer will help make the Kitega centre website ideal to provide all the necessary information to online visitors and potential partners.
OBJECTIVE

We want to have a website that contains all the information about Kitega centre.

Give a better design and activate features to give online visitors the best service when they visit the site.

Desired technical skill
• Experience with:
PHP, HTML, JavaScript/JQuery, CSS, XML/XSL
•MS SQL or MYSQL - design, development and administration
•Apache
•cross browsers and platform issues
•CMS i.e. Drupal Or Joomla.
•Content migration, Social media and payment gateway integration would be highly regarded
