Job Title: SUPERVISOR INTERNAL AUDIT (2 VACANCIES) REF. DSC 15/70/02 SALARY SCALE: UGANDA GOVERNMENT SCALE KCCA 6 AGE: 28 AND ABOVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honor’s Bachelor’s degree in either Commerce or Business Administration/studies or Finance and Accounting or Accounting or any other qualifications closely related to any of the above disciplines plus full professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA from a recognized university/awarding institution. PSC EXTERNAL ADVERT NO. 4/2012 5 Possession of a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in any Business related course from a recognized University/awarding institution will be an added advantage. Applicants should have a minimum of at least 5 years relevant working experience three (3) of which must have been gained at senior officer level in Government or equivalent level of relevant working experience at supervisory level from a reputable organization. He/she should have the following competences: Knowledge of International auditing standards, competences in risk based Audit, Strategic thinking and planning, excellent oral and written communication, management and Supervision, analytical and problem solving, setting up a high performing team and developing subordinates, excellent interpersonal relations, proven integrity and Confidentiality, ability to manage numerous deliverables in a timely and effective manner DUTIES:- The incumbent will be responsible to the Manager Internal Audit for performing the following duties:-  Preparing audit programmes in respect of every audit to be undertaken.  Monitoring the execution of audit programmes in respect of every audit assignment.  Reviewing the working papers generated by the Audit teams.  Preparing draft audit reports in respect of each audit assignment undertaken.  Following up on the recommendations made in respect of earlier completed audits.  Managing the performance and development of the supervised Staff.  Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time How to Apply: Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacant posts in Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), during the third phase of the recruitment exercise.
