MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honor’s Bachelor’s degree in either Commerce or Business Administration or Finance and Accounting or Accounting or Law or any other qualifications closely related to any of the above disciplines plus full professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA and a minimum of a certificate in Risk management from a recognized university/awarding institution.
Possession of a Master’s Degree in any business related course/discipline from a recognized University/institution will be of added advantage.

Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years relevant working experience three (3) of which should have been gained at Principal level in Government or equivalent relevant working experience at middle management level from a reputable organization.
He/she should have the following competences: Enterprise risk management, knowledge of applicable laws, Strategic thinking and planning, Oral and written communication skills, Management and Supervision, Analytical and problem solving, Setting up a high performing team and developing subordinates, Excellent interpersonal relations, Proven integrity and Confidentiality, Ability to manage numerous deliverables in a timely/ effective manner and Computer skills
DUTIES:-
The incumbent will be responsible to the Director Internal Audit for performing the following duties:-
Developing an integrated risk management framework to guide risk identification, evaluation, control, monitoring and reviewing Authority’s risks as per set standards.
Developing risk management policies for the Authority in line with the Authority guidelines, the Business plan, and best practices
Reviewing and updating the risk management and compliance policies in place to ensure effectiveness and adequate risk management system and make recommendations to Senior Management as per set Standards.
Monitoring the implementation of the Authority strategic plan and Divisional action plans and identify implementation risks and highlight it to the management for action in line with the Authorities risk management guidelines.
Managing performance and development of staff in Risk and compliance Division as per the Human Resources performance management policy.
Preparing and submitting quarterly risk management reports to senior management in line with the authorities risk management guidelines.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
