Job Title: POST: SUPERVISOR COMPLIANCE (1 VACANCY) REF. DSC 15/70/02 SALARY SCALE: UGANDA GOVERNMENT SCALE KCCA 6 AGE: 28 AND ABOVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honor’s Bachelor’s Degree in either Commerce or Business Administration or Finance and Accounting or Accounting or Law or any other qualifications closely related to any of the above disciplines plus a minimum of a post graduate Diploma in any of the above disciplines or full professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA from a recognized university/awarding institution. PSC EXTERNAL ADVERT NO. 4/2012 6 Possession of a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in any of the above fields from a recognized University/awarding institution will be of added advantage Applicants should have a minimum of at least 5 years relevant working experience three (3) of which should have been gained at senior officer level in Government or equivalent level of relevant working experience at supervisory level from a reputable organization. He/she should have the following competences: Investigative skills , knowledge of applicable laws; oral and written communication , management and Supervision; analytical and problem solving; setting up ahigh performing team and developing subordinates; excellent interpersonal relations; proven integrity and Confidentiality; Ability to manage numerous deliverables in a timely and effective manner. DUTIES:- The incumbent will be responsible to the Manager Compliance for performing the following duties:-  Coordinating the process of identifying potential compliance issues in Authority’s processes and procedures and providing advice on appropriate remedial action.  Coordinating the process of performing periodic tests to confirm compliance with regulatory requirements and the Authority’s standards.  Preparing monthly reports on Directorates’ compliance to set standards and programmes.  Developing the training and sensitization programs to staff on compliance related matters.  Managing the performance and development of staff in line with the Authority’s Performance Management system  Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time .
