Job Title: Executive Director
Reports to: Board of Directors

Role:
To provide technical, professional and managerial guidance in the production and development of statistics in line with the law governing the development and maintenance of the NSS

Key result areas
• Manage all the Technical operations pf the Bureau with regard top planning, production, coordination both at the planning and administrative level in formulation of programmes for statistical production and development
• Coordinate the bureau and the NSS
• Prepare reports to be presented to Minister on a quarterly basis
• Represent bureau both at national and international for a

Minimum Requirements:
• Must possess an honors degree and post-graduate training in either Statistics or economics with statistics or quantitative economics with mathematics froma a recognized institution
• Possession of PhD in a relevant field will be an added advantage

Experience:
15 years professional working experience with at least 7 years at a senior managerial level in a government department
Knowledge and exposure to financial Management and budgeting tools
