Job Title: Project Driver
Reports to: Project Manager

Responsibilities:
The driver provides services to the project manager at Uganda Tourism Board, consultants and expatriates on the project, and when needed, staff of UNDP backstopping the project

Specifically, the Driver
• Ensures provision of reliable and secure driving services by a) driving the project vehicle for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items and b) meeting official personnel and visitors at the airport, visa and custom formalities arrangement when required
• Ensures cost savings through proper use of the vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision of inputs to preparation of vehicle maintenance and proper use of fuel allocated to the vehicle
• Ensures proper day to day maintenance of assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check for tyres, brakes, car washing etc

Required Qualifications:
Education: Secondary Education. Valid Drivers License
Experience: Five years working experience as a driver, safe driving record; knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair
