Job Description:     Muhavura Extractions Ltd. is a subsidiary company of an American multi-national corporation and is situated in Kabale.
A vacancy has arisen, within the company, for Factory Maintenance (Engineer) Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the start-up, refurbishment and restoration of our existing extraction factory, as well as continued performance and maintenance of equipment and managing maintenance staff . This position is also accountable for operational efficiencies and machine downtime for our solvent extraction plant comprising the following main processes and equipment:

• Hexane solvent extraction process.

• Boiler and steam reticulation.

• Water reticulation.

• Refrigeration units.

• Hexane recovery including distillation, evaporation and condensation units.

• Hammer mill and pre-cleaner.

• Generator maintenance.
Preferred Skills:     The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in a mechanical engineering role in a similar manufacturing environment. This is a “hands on” role requiring a high level of initiative and technical expertise & know-how.
