Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Reports to: Manager Monitoring and Evaluation
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of a work programme for the monitoring and evaluation team and manage workloads and work streams to ensure the programme is delivered according to the plan
- Support implementation of an ongoing monitoring and evaluation programme addressing the revenue collection, expenditure and perfomance of activities supported by the Fund
- Monitor performance of designated agencies against KPIs including undertaking impromptu monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) field visits
- Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree in civil engineering from a recognized university
- A masters degree in highways or pavement engineering, construction management, transport planning or transport economics will be an added advantage
- Applicants should at least be graduate Members of Uganda Institution of professional Engineers
- A through understanding of the principles of road maintenance planning, asset management and investment appraisal preferably with working experience within the transport or road sector in Uganda
- experience in application of these principles
- Through understanding of the road sub-sector in Uganda
