Our client is a manufacturer of first moving consumer products and prides in serving the whole region. To enhance the strength of their team, they are looking to engage two vibrant professionals.
MARKETING MANAGER
Reports to: The Sales and marketing Director.
Duty Station: Kampala with occasional travels with in and outside the country.
Job Purpose:
To develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
To evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor’s data and implement marketing plans alterations as needed.
To effectively manage the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the company.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results
Determine and manage the marketing budget
Deliver marketing activities within agreed budget
Develop pricing strategy
Liaise with media and advertising agencies
Instil a marketing led ethos throughout the business
Manage the marketing mix and understand the current and potential customers
Make customer focused decision and manage the customer journey (customer relationship)
Requirement:
Education and Experience:
Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
Experience of 3 years in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies, concepts and technical marketing skills
4-5 years proven experience in fast moving consumer goods
Experience in Ebizframe ERP will be an added advantage
Professional qualification such as C.I.M is an added advantage Key Competencies:

Strong Team-leadership and persuasive skills
Excellent people management skills
Quick decision making and excellent judgment skills
Critical, logical thinking and Competitive Analysis ability
