Job Title: Cold Chain Technician
NMS 2012/02: Cold Chain Technician
Scale: NMS 5
Reports to: Quality Assurance Officer

Purpose of the Job
To ensure that cold chain equipment are in good working condition at all times through planning and execution of repairs and preventive maintenance

Key Accountabilities/ Key Results Areas
•    To supervise picking and packing of vaccines
•    To maintain temperature recording of cold chain that ensures quality assurance of vaccines as they come into stores
•    To supervise delivery of vaccines to health facilities
•    Drive independent maintenance practices for cold chain equipment

Qualifications:
•    Must have a minimum qualification of a diploma in Air conditioning and refrigeration engineering
•    At least 3 years related working experience in handling cold rooms, chillers and air conditioning A/C
•    Must be computer literate
