Fleet Manager Job Vacancy at Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development in Uganda

Job Title: Fleet Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Plans, directs, and coordinates the operation of vehicle maintenance and repair programs for departmental vehicles and their transit system operation including transit routing and scheduling
•    Plans and administer a preventive maintenance and vehicle replacement program for departmental vehicles and prepare cost analysis and periodic management and operational reports
•    Receives and processes vehicle accident and damage reports
•    Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
•    A higher Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering or a
•    Related training with a minimum of an upper second from a recognized institute of higher learning
•    Knowledge of transit system management and operations and principles and practices of vehicle maintenance and repair will be an added advantage
