Geophysicist Job Vacancy at Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development in Uganda

Job Title: Geophysicist
Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Gravity and magnetic data acquisition, processing and interpretation
•    Participate in designing and programming of computer software required in processing geophysical data
•    Participate in the acquisition and analysis of wire line logs
•    Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:
•    Bachelor of science degree (Upper Second) in Geophysics or physics or geology with physics/ mathematics, Electrical, Engineering from a recognized university
•    Post graduate training in petroleum geophysics will be an added advantage
•    Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
