Job Title: Driver

Location: NAADS Secretariat

Remuneration: Attractive and Competitive.

Terms of employment: Three (03) years contract

Number of Vacancies: 01 Vacancy

Qualification and Experience:

• A minimum of Uganda Certificate of Education or equivalent

• Additional qualification in vehicle mechanics will be an added advantage

• Must have a valid Driving License with C,E Classes

• Must have some computer skills (MS word)

• Previous work in Government institution will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

• Makes only approved journeys from time to time and in in accordance with legal legislations governing traffic in Uganda.

• Maintains accurate Vehicle movement on a daily basis

• Undertakes daily/weekly routine maintenance inspection for fuel, water, brake-fluid, tyre pressure, lights and checks for wear and tear and recommends corrective action

• Keeps both the interior and exterior of the vehicles clean and tidy on a daily basis

• Reports to the supervisor incidents/accidents promptly

• Maintains vehicle Service Register

• Ensures security and safety of the vehicle, its parts and tools while in drivers custody

• Performs any other duties that maybe assigned from time to time
