Job Title: Learning Support Teacher
Aga  Khan  Education  Services, Uganda  is seeking  for qualified suitable applicants  to fill the vacant position above .
Responsibilities
•    Identify  students ‘ learning  needs in  numeracy/mathematics  and develop  strategies to address  the  needs
•    Develop  a learning  program  that meets  individual and group learning  needs with  a focus on  numeracy skills, such as  computation  and problem solving  skills.
•    Develop a  resource  bank  for teaching  students  of diverse learning  needs and keep accurate record of students ‘ learning  progress.
•    Organize and manage  resources  that are accessible   and appropriate to students  in the  Learning  Support Unit.

Specifications
•    Bachelors degree  in Education specializing in  Mathematics  and additional  training  in special needs  education will be  an added advantage.
•    Minimum of  5 years experience  in a similar position is required.
•    Ability to work with  Primary and Secondary school  students .
•    Knowledge  and  sensitivity  to students  diverse  cultures  and learning  difficulties .
