Job Title: Medical  Officer

African Centre  for Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture Victims  (ACTV) is a non-governmental  organization  dedicated to the promotion  and protection of  human rights  with emphasis on the treatment  and rehabilitation of  survivors .
Responsibilities
•    Provide medical treatment  to  Torture survivors
•    Provide counseling  to  Torture survivors
•    Collaborate with  other health  professionals  and  build  networks with other  service  providers
•    Refer  clients  Medical Reports  for the Uganda Human Rights  Commission and other  Courts  of Law


Qualifications
•    A Bachelors  degree  in Human  Medicine .
Competencies
•    Able  to cope  with  traumatic  situations
•    Communication  and  interpersonal  skills
•    Computer skills
•    Results  and  team-oriented
