Water Engineer Job at Ministry of Water and Environment in Uganda

Job Title: Water Engineer
The  Ministry of Water and  Environment  seeks to  recruit  Professionals in  the  Technical  Support Units  to  provide  professional technical  support  to Distritcs Local  Governments to  reinforce its  role in monitoring  and implementation of its mandate with  Local Governments.
Duties
•    In change of the  District  Water  Department .
•    Preparations  of Terms  of  Reference  for engaging technical consultants and contractors , as well as ensuring  good project management  cycle  execution.
•    Review  technical plans  and reports , Operations  and Maintenance  arrangements
•    Establish and maintain  water resources  database and developments in the District
•    Technical  Supervision of  consultants  and contractors  as well  as staff under  his or her  supervision.

Qualifications
•    Bachelors of science  Degree  in Civil  Engineering  /Water Engineering  from a recognized  University.
•    Possession of an added  qualification in water related field  and registration  with Uganda  Institute  of  Professional Engineers  and  Engineers registration Boards is an added advantage .
•    At least two  years working  experience .
