POST:PRINCIPAL EXAMINATIONS OFFICER

The position reports to the Deputy Executive Secretary

Qualifications:
The suitable candidate for the position shall be a professional in the Nursing profession having M.Sc. (Nursing) Degree with a Diploma in Medical Education, He/She should have good communication and leadership skills and should be able to demonstrate professional competence and administrative ability in handling examinations matters.
,He/She should possess a minimum of at least five years experience at management level in a nurse or midwifery training institution, and at least five years at senior level in managing the nurses and midwifery final national examinations.

Duties and responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the position are to;
• coordinate the setting, conduct, and compilation of results of examination for Nurses and midwives
• coordinate the processes of award and release of results;
• communicate examination processes and results to stakeholders;
• set up and maintain a nurses and midwifery examinations question data bank;
• ensure past nurses and midwifery examination papers are published; and
• perform any other duty assigned by supervisors published; and perform any other duty assigned by supervisors.
