Job Title: PROGRAMME MANAGER
Lutheran World Relief currently seeks to recruit for the position of a Programme Manager for its Uganda
Country Office.
Purpose:
The Programme Manager is the principal assistant to the Country Director and his/her core functions are
to support the design and development of concept notes and proposals, undertake the monitoring and
evaluation of partners programmes, review and support partners in progress and financial reporting and
provide technical support to partners in project implementation.
Key skills, Qualifications and xperience
The successful candidate will emonstrate a deep commitment to LWR’s core values and ability to model
those values in relationship with partners and colleagues.
Skills and experience in value chain development for agricultural products , project cycle management, proposal development, project report writing and budgeting and financial management.
Analytical and problem solving skills and proficiency in the use of excel, word and internet.
A first degree in agricultural economics, agribusiness or agriculture with at least five years post qualification experience. Post graduate qualification in Project Planning and Management is an added
advantage.
