Job Title: Manager Vocational Training and Income Generation Activities
Duty station: Pader District
Supervisor: Programme Manager Pader
Starting date: 1st of November 2010

The Manager Vocational Training and Income Generating Activities is responsible for the implementation of the project on a day to day basis and manages the ZOA staff under the project. The project manager pro¬vides organizational development support to the partner organization and the vocational training centres.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement activities and/or facilitates implementation of the VT and livelihood projects
• Ensure monitoring and reporting of projects in line with donor requirements
• Contribute to preparation and planning of projects and provide input for new proposals
• Motivate and stimulate and supervise staff working on allocated projects
• Mentor and coach the partner and vocational training centers and engage in organizational development of the organizations
• Build and maintain good relationships with local authorities, other organizations and actors linking to the relevant sector.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in development studies or other relevant field
• At least three years field experience in the sectors vocational training, income generating and/or organizational development of rural institutes
• Motivated to coach and work with rural vocational training centres.Familiar with Project Cycle Management

Person profile
For both positions we are looking for stable personalities, who are self motivated and can work with little supervision and in a dynamic and stressful environment. Candidates are able to express themselves in clear English both oral and on a computer. Experience with EU Funding is an added advantage.
