How To Apply
To apply, submit to the office of the Deputy vice-Chancellor Academic Affairs an application form, a non refundable application fee, ordinary and Advanced level result slips and other pertinent information in support of your application.
Copies of the above materials are forwarded by the office of the Academic Registrar to the department of your choice. Each department gives appropriate weight the factors pertinent to its academic field. The admission committee grants or denies and forwards the decision to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Affairs office.
Your file is reviewed for completeness, and a letter is sent to you indicating admission, pending fulfillment of the requirements.
Application for admission, supporting credentials, including result slips of academic work, and the nonrefundable application fee should be received atleast (4) weeks before registration for the opening semester begins.
All documents received by the University in connection with an application for admission become the property of Uganda Christian University. Admission places of students who are admitted and fail to report are filled. However material will only be held for a period of only one year if the student notifies the office of the Academic Registrar in writing of postponement of enrollment.

Application Procedure
1.
Check website or newspaper for courses
2.
Do I qualify? If yes, Download application form, or collect from Registrar. If no, Email registrar for advice, or improve qualifications.
3.
Fill form and return to Registrar. You will pay Uganda sh50,000 for the application process. This can be paid when collecting or delivering the filled-in application form.
4.
Check website or Registrar’s office for notice of acceptance.
Accepted: Collect admission letters, joining instructions.
Not accepted: Try to improve your qualifications, email registrar to ask why.
If you have been accepted, any proportion of your fees due can be collected at this point.

Admission requirements
There are three avenues of entry to the university's undergraduate programmes
* The Direct Entry Scheme
* The mature Age/Special Entry Scheme
* The Diploma Holders Entry Scheme
The Direct Entry Scheme
A candidate shall be deemed eligible for consideration for admission to a first-degree program of the university if the candidate has obtained
* The Uganda certificate of education (‘O’ Level) or an equivalent qualifications
* At least two advanced level passes in approved subjects at the same sitting of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examination (‘A’ Level or an equivalent qualification)
The Mature Age/Special Entry Scheme
Candidates of the mature Age/Special Entry Scheme must be at least 25years and have had formal education at least five years previous to the year of admission. Those who are successful, in both the written and the oral examination are then considered for admission.
The Diploma Holders Entry Scheme
Candidates must be holders of Diploma relevant to their field of study
