Job Title: HUM AN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (1P0ST)
Reports to: Executive Secretary/Registrar
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the human resource and administrative function for the effective performance of NDA.
• Provide input to the development of the human resource management policies, strategies, procedures and terms and conditions of service and also oversee their implementation.
• Oversee the provision of effective administrative and logistical support for the execution of the mandate of NDA.
• Monitor the proper utilization of the assets of the Authority and overseeing their maintenance and safe custody.
• Manage and regularly update the inventory of the company's assets in collaboration with the Finance Section.
• Tender technical advice and support to all staff through interpreting and ensuring adherence to human resource policies, strategies, procedures, rules and regulations.
• Ensure the prompt preparation and update of staff records as well as the payroll liaison with the Finance Section.
• Coordinate to matters relating to staff welfare, counseling, health and safety.
• Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Job requirement
Preferred additional qualifications:
• Training in Financial and assets management.
• Basic logistics management.
• Institute of Certified Secretaries and Administrators Qualification (ICSA)
• Basic knowledge of the law governing the institution.
• Knowledge of the policies, rules and regulations of NDA that govern human resource management and administrative practices.
• Basic laws governing the management and accountability for public assets and finances.
• Demonstrated personal integrity.

Minimum experience:
Not less than 8 years experience with at least 5 year experience in a Senior Human Resource Management and Administrative position of a reputable Organisation.
Duration of appointment:
The appointment is for 4 year contract renewable based on performance.
