Child Protection Facilitator Vacancy at World Vision-Uganda

Job Title: Child Protection Facilitator
Reports to: Project Manager

Purpose of the Position:
To implement the activities of the child protection project in Kiboga and Kyankwanzi Districts in collaboration with the community-based formal and informal Child Protection structures.

Key Result Areas:

  • Implement project activities in line with project design documents.
  • Design weekly work plan and discuss with line manager
  • Build the capacities of staff and other stakeholders in the community.
  • Establish and support networks at sub-county and district levels
  • Enter data into the project database and produce monthly project reports.
Knowledge, skills and Abilities:
  • Must have a university degree in development, law, social sciences, policy science and / or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have proven advocacy experience
  • Strong understanding of child protection issues in Uganda and the national legal framework
