Job Title: Child Protection Facilitator
Reports to: Project Manager
Purpose of the Position:
To implement the activities of the child protection project in Kiboga and Kyankwanzi Districts in collaboration with the community-based formal and informal Child Protection structures.
Key Result Areas:
- Implement project activities in line with project design documents.
- Design weekly work plan and discuss with line manager
- Build the capacities of staff and other stakeholders in the community.
- Establish and support networks at sub-county and district levels
- Enter data into the project database and produce monthly project reports.
- Must have a university degree in development, law, social sciences, policy science and / or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have proven advocacy experience
- Strong understanding of child protection issues in Uganda and the national legal framework
