Finance and Administration Manager Job in Uganda at EMPOWAD Ltd

Job Title: Finance and Administration Manager
( REF: EMP/001/11)
Reports to: Managing Director

Job Purpose:
To develop and implement Financial and Human Resource / Administrative policies based on the overall company objectives, goals and ensure compliance with all the relevant regulations

Main Accountabilities:
• Develop, monitor and control the company’s Annual Operating Budget (AOB), to ensure that all financial targets are met and the financial statutory obligations are complied with
• Maintain reliable and accurate accounting records which are in line with the international financial reporting standards, the Company’s Act and the internal Accounting Policies for the company
• Develop and implement an internal audit programme to ensure that the company complies with financial procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelors Degree in Finance and/ or Accounts, Business Administration or the equivalent with Qualifications of ACCA, CPA, ICSA and a postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.

Experience:
5 Years relevant practical experience in a very competitive business environment at senior management level.

Attributes:
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, business dynamics know-how, National and international labor laws, Excellent computer Skills with proficiency in accounting software.
