Job Title: Hygiene and Sanitation Officer
Reports to: Regional Coordinator WASH

Purpose of the Position:
To give technical support and capacity building to the sanitation and hygiene issues in the region and to network the sector with various stakeholders to achieve the World Vision's project objectives.

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop hygiene awareness training and roll out plan and ensure that it is implemented
• Work with the respective teachers of every targeted school in carrying out hygiene activities in the schools and the community
• Cultivate linkage with the relevant institutions and programs ( Ministry of Health, District Health service, District Education Office

Experience, Qualification and Skills:

• A degree in Public Health from a recognized University
  
• Experience in implementing health, WASH related activities of not less than 2 years, preferably within an NGO
• Very strong facilitation and communication skills
