Job Title: Project Officer
Reports to: Project Manager
Location: Kotido

Role of the Position:
To implement all project activities in the designated area and promote appreciation of the importance of education amongst Kotido population, and improve adoptability of education to pastoralist lifestyle, in line with Government of Uganda (GoU) and wVU/ donor guidelines

Key Result Areas:
• Mobilization of the target community groups/ beneficiaries for participation under the different activities
• Monitor the achievements against the indicators log frame
• Conduct most of the trainings to be implemented during the project
• Coordinate sensitization campaigns on the value of education among the target community, and represent world Vision at the stakeholder meetings in the district.

Knowledge, skills and Abilities:
• Degree in education, Social Work & Social Administration, development, management or related field
• 2 years or more experience of relief and development work. Previous experience with implementing education projects among pastoralist communities is an added advantage
• Experience of assessment, planning and implementation of development and emergency projects.
