Job Title: Quality Supervisor
Requirement overview:
The role directly supports the quality Assurance Manager in the implementation of quality policies, guidelines and standards in the GLT to ensure that the customer gets quality products

Key Responsibilities:

• Custody of product specifications by ensuring that the correct packing instructions are in use and are duly implemented by the Processing Team
• Calibrates all the GLT quality equipment to ensure that the department meets the minimum BAT standards and guarantee integrity of the results reported
• Ensure that all product quality parameters (product Moisture Content, Particle Size Distribution, chemical Analysis, Product temperature and non tobacco related materials) are conducted in accordance with stipulated procedures and values imparted accordingly

Skills and Experience:

• The job holder must have at least a Bachelor of science degree in Food Science and Technology, Industrial Chemistry, chemical engineering or any other related field
• Should possess at least 2 years working experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
• In depth understanding of processing and quality control equipment and procedures
