REMUNERATION: CAA Salary scale - Level 10
REPORTS TO : Manager Air Traffic Management.

JOB PURPOSE: The position exists to provide information, instructions and directions to pilots under (his/her) control in order to achieve a safe, orderly and timely flow of air traffic.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Provide aerodrome control at Airports.

 Provide approach control at Airport Terminal areas.

 Provide flight information services to Pilots.

 Provide alerting services.

 Originate NOTAMS concerning duty stations.

 Alert crash and fire services whenever necessary in accordance with the local instructions and procedures.

 Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

 A good University degree with a bias in any of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science and Geography.
OR
 A Private Pilot’s License.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

 Computer literacy with wide experience in use of MS office applications.
 Must be able to speak English without impediment.
