Job Title: Executive Director


Role of Position:
The TAB will approve the appointment of an Executive director to lead the KMCC on a day-to-day basis, managing the team which will be based at the centre. This team will initially consist of around 5 offices, but with potential for expansion as the reputation of the center grows.

Qualities and Attributes of the executive Director
The successful Candidate will be available to start work on a full time basis as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with:
• At least 15 years of experience working in a senior HIV/ Aids research, policy or programming capacity;
• A thorough understanding of the barriers to the effective uptake of research and other types of knowledge
• Proven knowledge of effective HIV/AIDS prevention communication strategies
• Extensive networks among HIV/AIDS related organizations in Uganda, with proven policy and programming influencing skills
