MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in either Commerce (Accounting option) or Business Administration (Accounting option) or Business Studies (Accounting option) or Finance and Accounting or any other course with accounting option plus full Professional Accounting Qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ACIS and CPE from a recognized University/awarding Institution.
Possession of a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in any of the above fields from a recognized University/institution will be of added advantage.
Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years relevant working experience three (3) of which should have been gained at Senior Officer level in Government or equivalent Supervisory level of relevant working experience from a reputable organization.
He/she should have competences/ experience in Budget preparation and monitoring, strong analytical skills, high proficiency in the use of computer applications especially spreadsheets and databases (knowledge of the Computerized Accounting System, MS Office required), excellent report writing capability.
DUTIES:-
The incumbent will be responsible to the Manager for performing the following duties:-
? Preparing and consolidating KCCA budget in accordance with the Authority plan, MFPED budget guidelines, financial regulation and KCCA Accounting Manual.

? Developing and implementing sound budget management procedures and process in accordance with the KCCA accounting Manual and Budget Act 2001.
? Preparing periodical budget monitoring and performance reports.
? Coding expenditure claims and procurement requisitions in accordance with the approved budget and procurement plan
? Supervising the performance of the budget officers and Directorate budget liaison officers.
? Managing the performance and development of staff in the unit in line with the HRMM.
? Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
