Job Title: RIGGER Reporting to Regional Technical Manager The successful candidate : Should be strong and personally fit Should be proficient in the use of computers Should be willing to work extra hours. Good Team player. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be well organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work with minimum supervision and extremely focused, self driven, innovative and creative. Should be able to build and maintain relationships across different functions and organisations Analytical and solutions focused. Should have a clean and valid driver’s licence Applicants must have Uganda Advanced level Certificate or Ordinary Diploma in Telecommunications or its equivalent in the relevant field. At least 2 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry. especially majoring in Towers and Earth Improvement Knowledge of metal works and technical drawing. Towers and Earth Improvement experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out maintenance of tower and antenna installations within scheduled time. Carry out alignment of transmission dishes tasks during installations and maintenance. Interpret path loss/ RNP parameters as provided by the planners Ensure proper installations of all BTS units and ensure proper earth installations and improvements for all sites. Recommend the purchase of some spares and other tower maintenance tools for quality transmission links. Carry out any other rigging works by other operational and project works.
